About me

Certified Biodynamic Massage Therapist based in Suffolk

After many years working in the music industry, I experienced first-hand the demands of a fast-paced and often intense lifestyle. The pressures of touring, alongside significant personal challenges, led me to recognise the importance of self-regulation, deep rest, and integrating life's experiences through both mind and body.

I discovered Biodynamic Therapy at a time when I was seeking greater balance, calm and connection within myself. Its holistic, compassionate and body-centred approach deeply resonated with me and became the foundation of my own journey into this work.

I began my professional training with the London School of Biodynamic Psychotherapy in 2020 and am now a fully qualified Biodynamic Massage Therapist. I continue to deepen my practice through ongoing training and clinical supervision as I work towards qualification as a Biodynamic Body Psychotherapist.

My approach

"Out beyond ideas of wrongdoing and right-doing, there is a field.

I'll meet you there." - Rumi

I believe that healing begins with feeling safe, listened to and respected.

My hope is to create a therapeutic environment where you can slow down without pressure or expectation. A space where you don't have to perform, rush, or feel like you have to be "fixed." A space where you can feel supported and reconnect with your own natural capacity for balance and wellbeing.

Every session is centered around compassion and respect for your individual experience in a professional setting.

Whether you are seeking relief from physical tension, looking for support during a demanding period of life or simply wishing to reconnect with yourself, you will be welcomed with warmth and care.

What is Biodynamic Massage Therapy?

“Biodynamic massage is a conversation without words…” — Clover Southwell

Biodynamic Massage Therapy is a gentle, holistic form of bodywork that supports the integration of physical, emotional, mental and spiritual wellbeing.

Developed by Norwegian psychologist and physiotherapist Gerda Boyesen in the 1960s, Biodynamic Massage is founded on the understanding that mind and body are deeply and intrinsically connected and that, when given the right conditions, each person has an innate capacity to move towards balance, self-regulation and wellbeing.

The body carries experiences.
It adapts.
It protects.
It communicates.

Feeling deeply listened to—both physically and emotionally—can itself be an important part of the healing process.

Every session is unique because every person arrives with a different history.

Rather than following a predetermined treatment plan or focusing solely on relieving symptoms, the therapist listens carefully to what your body is communicating through muscle tone, tissue quality, breathing patterns and your own experience during the session.

Treatments are gentle, personalised and unfold at your own pace within a safe therapeutic relationship built on respect, presence and consent.

Drawing on a range of techniques, each chosen with a clear therapeutic intention, treatment may work with the muscular, skeletal, fascial, connective tissue, skin and energetic layers of the body according to your individual needs.

The Biodynamic Stethoscope

One of Gerda Boyesen's most significant contributions was recognising the close relationship between the brain, emotions and the digestive system. In Biodynamic we consider that just as our digestive system processes food, it also plays an important role in digesting our emotional experiences.

Biodynamic practitioners may use a specialised stethoscope to listen to natural digestive sounds during treatment.

These sounds—known as psycho-peristalsis—are understood as a form of biofeedback, offering insight into the body's self-regulating processes. Rather than serving as a diagnostic tool, the stethoscope helps the practitioner follow your body's natural rhythms and pace treatment accordingly. It rests lightly on the abdomen and is used in a gentle, non-invasive way.
